Merry Christ Mass

Merry Christ Mass

Something inside me snapped a couple weeks ago. I saw this great big lit up sign in my hometown that said, “Season’s Greetings.” Immediately the design for the button to the left came into my mind. It’s not “Season’s Greetings,” but “Merry Christmas.” And, Christmas is short for “Christ’s Mass” or “Christ Mass.” We celebrate the coming of Christ with Mass. Click on the image to get your own “Merry Christ Mass” button.

Whispers in the Loggia

Sunday, October 11th, 2009

A priest filling in for our parish priest gave me the name of a really good blog: Whispers in the Loggia (he got it from our former Archbishop, Thomas Collins).

As I was adding it to my Blogroll, I noticed that I was missing a number of links under News. Check out Whispers in the Loggia and my sources for Catholic news.

I should also mention that at the bottom of my blog, I have a banner for the USCCB page for the new Roman Missal. Check it out if you’re at all interested in the changes coming soon to the Mass.

Centering Prayer and Inner Awakening

I made some major edits to my Weekly Thought for December 14, 2007. At the bottom, I added some podcast links for some talks on contemplative prayer by Fr. Thomas Dubay.

I’m sorry I didn’t get this to you sooner, but I’ve got a new page on my website:

I Now Have a Blog

Friday, July 18th, 2008

I’ve decided to try blogging. I’ve been told that RJ’s Weekly Thought was a blog before there were blogs, but I’m not going to place the same restrictions on this blog as I did on RJ’s Weekly Thought. I’ll post whatever I want to whenever I want to. Ten times a day or ten times a year. I may write something long, or I may just give a link to something that I think in important.

The e-mail list for RJ’s Weekly Thought will still be active as number of podcast series and as a website update list. Website updates will also be include on this blog, as will links to the beginning of a podcast series.
